Apparently a classic ride splash mountain is being tried to gotten rid of but the problem is Disney is claiming it's racest but...it's not it was made on a book that was made at that time.
This guy explains it better but his popularity seems mixed when I post it but right now I just want to spread the word on that since he asked and I kind of don't want to lose a ride that's been in a park that has become very iconic and the most popular ride in the park just because some people who...well so far the guys in charge of the planning to tear down this hasn't been the nicest people and I don't think you should just destory something people enjoy just for politics. Especially since this would just only be a short amount of what you could get out of it.
Makes me feel sad due to a Roller coaster my mom said she loved as a girl. Then they tried to make up something that it was unsafe to destroy it. But that roller coaster was just so popular with the entire city. Then the demolition team showed up and well it didn't look good when the expert demolition team had 3 failed attempts to destroy it. Bombs on all the load baring wooden beams and everything publicly broadcasted. And the first time a failure. More explosives later on the base and supports and another failure. The there one another failure. I think then it was either a few hours later it just fell due to all the damage but that thing was definitely solid.
My mother said she cried when she heard of the coaster being destroyed. So that's why I want to post this and ask if anyone knows anything to spread the word.

The ride closed down already, back in January.
Likely the tare down already started, since the new ride replacing it is scheduled to open next year.

I believe there where three then. I was unaware the US had two.
In the end there will still be a flume ride though. Just rethemed.

I remember this ride! I'm not a fan of water rides unless I'm in my bathing suit. But I remember this from my last trip to Disney world in Florida 2003. I know there are three or were three water parks in that Disney.
